Amandine Barrillon and Ivan Chary created in 1998 La Compagnie du Petit Monsieur. It looks for the incongruous in our everyday lives and plays with these little misfortunes which transform an ordinary man into a clown in spite of himself.
Without pretending to renew a genre whose masters are Chaplin, the Mikos or George Carl, La Compagnie takes inspiration from these mundane circumstances, slightly offbeat at first, in any case plausible, and pushes them into a burlesque situation.
